What inspired the creation of this site?

I began creating this website as a space to connect women who drum — whether it's with a frame drum, tambourine, djembe, or any other instrument that resonates through body and soul.

For a long time, I've felt that we carry a rhythm within us — one that longs to be heard. A feminine rhythm: cyclical, intuitive, and healing.
Drumming is a path for me — a way back to myself, to others, and to those who came long before us. I was deeply inspired by the book When the Drummers Were Women by Layne Redmond, which opened both my eyes and heart to the ancient tradition of women's drumming.

This website is growing as a living space — for sharing inspiration, rhythms, instruments, workshops, gatherings, and personal stories.
I don't want to merely pass on information, but to create a circle — where each of us has her place, her rhythm, and her voice.
